Video Promos: Performance Line Tool Center’s “Demo Days”
Demo Days are held at PLTC each December, and I was tasked with promoting their live sales event. These short promos were shot on my C100 Mkii. I then edited and posted it on the company’s Facebook page to draw in more customers for the event.
Lake Orion Live Events & Highlights
During my time with ONTV, I helped produce live broadcasts of local events in Lake Orion. These events included track meets, softball games and outdoor concerts. I acted as a camera operator during most of the live shoots, and also spent time as director for the live concerts. I was also tasked with cutting together highlights from the sporting events, which would air every week on ONTV’s local TV channel.
Documentary: Cost and Effect of Health Insurance
For my cinematography class, we worked alongside a Sociology class in order to produce a documentary. This project gave me some of my best videography experience, as each of us were individually required to shoot, edit, and present our groups’ documentary.
Short Film: Wish
Wish was a short film I worked on with my Advanced Cinematography class. For this film, we were each assigned a role and had to stick with it for the entire semester. For Wish, I took on the role of lead camera operator.
Animated Children’s Book: Captain Ren’s Trip to Mars
For this project, I was tasked with bringing a children’s book to life using Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects. I also provided the voiceover for the video, which was presented in my Advanced Post-Production Class.
Gaming Montages: Funny Moments
I spent much of my time as a YouTube content creator putting together gaming clips captured by my friends and I. In late 2018, I began to compile some of the funniest clips from our in game-experiences and turn them into weekly highlight reels. Funny Moments became one of the many gaming related shows I ran on my various channels over the years.
BCA News
Being a news talent is something I had very little experience in before taking my electronic video performance class. These news projects got me my first real experience working with scriptwriting and news, and helped get me more used to being in front of the camera.
